This training series is designed for faculty, staff, and graduate students at the University of Illinois seeking to understand race and racism in deeper ways, promote racial justice, and dismantle systems of oppression through intensive 3-hour trainings. The Illini Union has hired two new Senior Associate Directors to the leadership team. Dr. Lincoln Walburn has been selected as Senior Associate Director for Facilities and Operations with his first day being August 3. Lincoln has vast experience in college union's and capital construction projects. Tami Whiteaker will be starting as Senior Associate Director for Retail Operations effective June 16. Tami most recently served as the associate director for retail operations with the Illini Union, overseeing the Illini Union Bookstore, Virtual Stores, and Document Services and Campus Mail.
