The Illini Union and its restaurants will be fully open this summer for lunch from 11am-2pm (M-F). Stop by for a bit to eat, something to drink, or some ice cream! Maize Mexican Grill, Mia Za's Express, Thai Fusion, Brien's Bistro, and Moo of I will be open in the Underground. Just Bee Acai, Tropical Smoothie, Starbucks, and the Quad shop are open on the first floor. Summer is a great time to enjoy campus flavors!

Clarence Shelley devoted his life to creating opportunities so students and young people could thrive in their educational, career, and life pursuits. Recruited to the University of Illinois by Chancellor Jack Peltason in 1968 to lead the new Special Educational Opportunities Program (SEOP or “Project 500”), Shelley’s leadership shaped student success and institutional change over five decades. Illinois faculty and staff are invited to try the Activities & Recreation Center (ARC) for free! Attendees can get in their favorite workout, tour the state-of-the-art facility, and learn about the benefits of becoming a Campus Recreation member. Summer memberships are valid from June 1 - July 31 and are only $100. Bring a valid i-card for entry.
