The final day for Career Center drop-in services is May 6. The last day for Mock Interview appointments is May 7, and the final day for the Professional Portrait Lab is May 8. Coaching appointments will remain available during summer from 9:30 AM – 4 PM daily. Document Review Drop-Ins will be available in the Resource Center from 1 – 3 PM Monday through Thursday, starting May 18. Online Personal Statement Reviews will continue as normal with a limit of one review per student for the summer (the submission limit will be reset on May 18).

Reservations to use the Wellness Hut at the Illini Union Underground during Summer Registration are now open! Summer Registration runs from May 26 - July 10. Due to the nature of the event, all reservations will be from 12-1pm, but you may set up from 11am and stay as long as you want. The event is hosted at the Illini Union and up to 1,500 people attend each day, so it's the perfect opportunity for you to highlight your department and do personalized outreach to our incoming class without competing with other departments from the morning Resource Fair. Secure your spot here by Friday, May 15.

The Native American House Congratulatory Ceremony is a community-focused event celebrating the graduation of Native and Indigenous students. Graduates and their families are invited to participate in a meaningful, unique program featuring traditional songs, dances, and other cultural acknowledgments to honor degree completion. Throughout the Ceremony, participants will hear messages from Elders, university leadership, and other special guests. A buffet-style dinner concludes this event. 

This is your last chance this academic year to get Mental Health First Aid certified. Summer 2026 courses are now open for registration. MHFA is a free, evidence-based training that builds practical skills to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges. Full participation earns a three-year, internationally recognized certification. Courses are offered in person, with additional sessions available later in the semester. The Illini Union Bookstore Starbucks offers the Grounds for the Garden program. Faculty and staff can stop by the Starbucks at the Illini Union Bookstore and pick up FREE five-pound bags of used coffee grounds which you can use to add to your gardens and/or compost pile. Bags are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are placed outside of the Starbucks counter. Stop by any time and any day. If bags aren't available, just ask a barista.
