Student Affairs invites nominations for the Stanley R. Levy Student Leadership Scholarship, a $5K scholarship to recognize underg students who serve in significant leadership positions within major student orgs. The scholarship is intended to support students who might otherwise be unable to pursue leadership opportunities due to financial constraints, w/ preference given to upper-division students (juniors & seniors) who have demonstrated a sustained record of impactful leadership. As the colder months approach, many students on our campus are facing the season without essential winter gear or basic hygiene products. We're calling on our campus community to come together and donate new or gently used scarves, hats, gloves and coats as well as unopened hygiene products like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and more. Older portraits from the Illini Union’s East Hallway have been archived, while the space has been refreshed in anticipation of future designs. A new Discovery Box in the Northeast Vestibule now offers in-depth, interactive stories of notable alumni, including Nobel Prize winners, award-winning directors, and space explorers. Further plans for the East Hallway are in development, ensuring this historic area continues to highlight Illini achievements in dynamic new ways.
