Students who have recently transferred to U. of I. are invited to join us on October 21, 2025, at 5 p.m. at The Career Center for Career Development for Transfer Students: Navigating Your Personal Career Path—a workshop designed with transfer students in mind. Students will explore their career path, develop job search strategies, and craft their personal story to highlight their strengths and skills to employers, all while leveraging the unique perspective and experience that transfer students bring to the table. Join us for an Introduction to the LGBTQ+ community. In this training we will cover: LGBTQ+ identities, the gender spectrum and transgender identities, gender pronouns and intersectionality. Do you walk, bike, roll, or visit parks and trails in Champaign County? The Champaign County Regional Planning Commission wants your feedback! The Champaign-Urbana Active Transportation Plan aims to create an up-to-date plan for enabling and encouraging active transportation (walking, biking, using mobility devices) and access to parks in Champaign County. You can visit ccrpc.org/cu-atp before October 31 to fill out a survey about how you use active transportation locally, and use our comment maps to pinpoint places you like, dislike, or want to see changed.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Counseling Center is hosting a workshop on healthy vs. unhealthy relationships while learning the importance of self-care within these relationships on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 6-7pm at the Women's Resources Center. The Counseling Center is also tabling on October 15 at Anniversary Plaza from Noon-1:30pm and on October 29 at Illinois Street Residence Halls (ISR) from 4:30-6pm to create awareness and promote this year's theme of "With Survivors, Always," guiding survivors toward safety, support, and solidarity. 

The Career Center and Exploratory Studies worked together to launch I-Explore week to help students prepare for the (Inter-Collegiate Transfer) ICT Process.
