Seeking adults with significant difficulty hearing in noise
Healthy adults ages 18-40 with no hearing loss but significant difficulty hearing in noise are invited for a study on listening in noise. There is an online survey to determine eligibility followed by lab visits for those who qualify. Lab visits include hearing screening, listening to sounds and measuring ear and brain activity. There is a maximum of three lab visits, each lasting 2-3 hours. Compensation for lab visits is paid in cash ($15 per hour). Participation involves attending three laboratory sessions, wearing at least two transdermal bracelets (on your non-dominant hand) and filling out surveys for two weeks. Study on nutrition training for parents/caregivers of young children
This study seeks to gather input on components of a nutrition training program from parents and family caregivers of children ages six months to 14 years. Participation involves a virtual interview and online survey (30 minutes). Eligible parents/caregivers will receive up to $25 upon completing the session.

We are seeking healthy volunteers who are of a similar age as most adult stroke patients to participate in our study. You will receive a $50 stipend for MRI, and a $100 stipend for the movement exercises, sensory test and brain and muscle activity assessment on the U. of I. campus.
