2025 Business Excellence Symposium

The Business Excellence Symposium will be held Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at the I Hotel. Free Family and Couples Therapy at the School of Social Work

The School of Social Work is looking for families or couples willing to receive eight weeks of therapy free of charge provided by MSW students. Students will be supervised by a licensed clinical social worker. Sessions will take place on Thursdays at 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. for eight weeks starting Feb. 27, 2025. The BRIDGE Seed Fund provides funding to advance Illinois’ research and engagement missions together with the University of Birmingham. Allerton hosts Dances of the Gilded Age

Step back in time with turn-of-the-century dances at Dances of the Gilded Age from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 27 through March 3, in the Mansion. Instructor Jeanette Watts will teach 1900-era ballroom styles including the waltz and two-step, reflecting the graceful movements that captivated society early in the 20th century. $90 per person for the entire series or $30 per class.
