FGI Webinar: Reliability Analysis of Landfill Slopes

This webinar will propose a reliability analysis for geosynthetic lined landfill slopes that employs the procedure in Duncan (2000) and a variation of 5-to-15% input parameters. A random distribution is introduced to allow for uncertainty in shear displacements induced and mobilized interface strength, waste unit weight and leachate level in landfill to assess impact on probability of failure.

Adolescents (14 to 17 years old) are invited for a paid study

To understand how personal experience is related to how people read, we invite adolescents (ages 14-17) who speak English at home for an in-person study. Looking for adults ages 60-75 to participate in a study into prolonged sitting and how adults think.
