Participate in a Sweet Taste Study
Seeking participants for a study on the effect of sweet taste on blood sugar. Participants aged 21-45, non-smokers, with a BMI of 30 kg/m2 and no diabetes will complete questionnaires, taste testing, body composition scans, and blood draws and receive up to $500 upon completion of 5 visits (between 2 to 6 hours each) and free parking. We are examining the effects of vary amounts of fat in a meal on the rate of building muscle proteins. The study requires 3 days of participation including 2 full-day trials with blood and muscle sample collection. Last Call: Participants Wanted for SNACKing Study ~$500
Last call! We are looking for adults 30-60 years old with a BMI between 25 - 35 who are free of metabolic and GI disorders to participate. You will be asked to consume a pre-prepared snack twice daily for 12 weeks. You will also be asked to visit the laboratory three times for blood draws and questionnaires, as well as provide six stool samples. You will receive up to $500 for participating.
