Illinois is hosting a free exhibition of the murals of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in the Illini Union Gallery in September. The show opens on Sept.7, at 10:30 a.m. with a symposium in the Union’s Pine Lounge. Prof. Gisela Sin will lead a conversation with muralism expert Prof. Sandra Zetina and photographer Ricardo Alvarado. A reception will be in the gallery from 4-5 p.m.
