Reminder: Microsoft 365 FERPA Changes Coming May 17

On Wed., May 17 two changes are coming to Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint to increase FERPA compliance. Only U of I Box can be integrated with Microsoft Teams. Other cloud storage solutions provided by the University are available, but cannot be integrated with Teams. In addition, only enabled applications can be integrated with Teams. Apps installed before May 17 will continue to work.

The National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps (I-Corps) is an immersive learning program that provides entrepreneurial education, mentoring, and funding opportunities to accelerate research commercialization. Abberior Instruments and the IGB Core Facilities microscopy group are hosting a Midwest Advanced Minflux Super Resolution Workshop. Keynote speaker and Nobel laureate Stefan W. Hell will discuss Minflux technique. This is an educational workshop for both current STED/MINFLUX users and researchers that would like to learn more about these microscopy techniques.
