ProctorU updates to begin May 15

ProctorU, our online test proctoring service, will begin using its Guardian tool on May 15, the start of Summer 2023. This update will further streamline the student experience. The Guardian tool works with all versions of ProctorU on campus, particularly the recommended version, Record+. The Power of Personal Stories: From Home Film to Educational Tool

Without an agenda besides having something to pass down for his family, “First To Go: Story of the Kataoka Family” tells the story of the director's own family's incarceration in the Japanese Incarceration Camps during a dark time in American history. Looking for adults aged 21-64 years with high weight for height to participate in a study into prolonged sitting and how adults think. Seeking healthy adults ages 18-30 for hearing research study

Recruiting healthy adults ages 18-30 who have no ear/hearing disorder, no speech/language disorder, no neurologic disorder, are right-handed, speak English as their first language, and are non-smokers. Seeking healthy volunteers (males/females, 21-50yrs) who don't smoke to participate in a taste test to explore individual differences in some flavor-related genes and bitter taste perception. Adults (45-75) wanted for Supplement Study

This study involves adults ages 45-75 years consuming two different supplements daily for two separate four-week periods. Participation involves collection of stool samples and diet records. Participants will complete surveys and computer tasks (over 6 visits of 1.5 to 2.5 hours each) to assess thinking ability. The study will take ~13 weeks total. Compensation of $350 provided upon completion.

Abberior Instruments and the IGB Core Facilities will be hosting the first Annual Midwest Advanced MINFLUX Super Resolution Workshop. Deadline to register is May 15th.
