FIRST Lego League Robotics Competition Volunteers Needed

The FIRST Lego League Tesla State Championship competition takes place at the ARC on Saturday, January 28th. Looking for adults aged 21-64 years with high weight for height to participate in a study into prolonged sitting and how adults think. The study involves 3 visits to Freer Hall, wearing activity monitors, and screening. Measures include cognitive tests, electroencephalography, a body scan, maximal exercise test, and blood draws. A few weeks ago, we advertised the How’s my PI study. We have now revised the survey so that it will give you immediate feedback about where your PI scores on social, emotional, and behavioral skills, and where you score on well-being, and personality compared to other researchers.  We will still enter you in a drawing to win one of two iPads if you participate. Seeking Children between 7 to 13 years for Paid Research Study

We are recruiting children between 7-13 years to participate in the Liver and Brain (LiBra) study. The LiBra study examines relationships between diet, physical health, and cognitive function. Participation involves 3 visits to Freer Hall and the Beckman Institute. Measures include diet, physical activity, weight status, brain imaging, and a blood draw. Compensation will be provided (up to $200).
