Parking meters being removed on campus
The Parking Department is removing university parking meters and replacing them with Pay By App only signage. There are three apps to use: MobileMeter, ParkMobile, and PayByPhone. If you do not have a smartphone, you can dial (217) 207-3033 to pay over the phone. When parking at B4, E14, E24, or the Illini Union, payment can also be made via pay station. We offer $12/day meter permits as well.

If you left your bike and want to reclaim it, email bike@illinois.edu and include where it was located, the make/model, color, and serial number, if possible. Bike registration information or other documentation will be needed to prove ownership (e.g., pictures). A bike must be registered for retrieval.

Starting Thursday, Sept. 1, Transportation & Automotive Services (TAS) will add a 4-cents-per-mile fuel surcharge to Car Pool rentals because of the increased cost of unleaded gasoline. TAS will evaluate market conditions and adjust the surcharge monthly, including decreasing the initial amount should prices drop. Seeking participants for a study on the effect of sweet taste on blood sugar.
