Campus Wi-Fi Certificate Update

Wi-Fi at Illinois will update security certificates that allow you to join the IllinoisNet and EDUROAM Wi-Fi networks. Starting April 4, your Wi-Fi connectivity may be affected if your device was not connected properly. To avoid possible interruptions, build a profile on your device go.illinois.edu/illinoisnetsetup. Fulbright Informational Events

The Fulbright US Student Program funds recently graduated undergraduates and current graduate students to either teach English, get a graduate degree, conduct research, or work on an art project abroad for ten months. Throughout April, the National and International Scholarships Program will host info sessions for juniors and seniors interested in applying for a Fulbright by August 28, 2023 in order to go abroad in Fall 2024.

Image of Research -- UR Edition

The Image of Research – UR Edition is a multidisciplinary competition celebrating the diversity and breadth of undergraduate student research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. All undergraduate students are invited to submit entries consisting of an image and brief text that articulates how the image relates to the research. Awards: First prize: $300; Second prize: $200; People’s Choice Award: $100. Deadline: Midnight CST on Friday, April 7, 2023

Submit to the Beckman Institute Research Image Contest

Beckman is accepting undergraduate student entries for its annual research image contest. Images submitted by Beckman student researchers or captured within Beckman's core research facilities by non-Beckman-affiliated student researchers are eligible. Winning images will be displayed in the Beckman Director's Conference Room for a year, posted on Beckman's website and social media, and showcased on campus and in the community. Submit your image by May 3.

The Democracy Summit, explores civic ideas that transform our perspectives on our responsibilities for an equitable society. The keynote lecture How Democracies Die will be presented by Professor Daniel Ziblatt. He is the Eaton Professor of Government at Harvard University, a New York Times bestseller, and winner of the American Political Science Association's 2018 Woodrow Wilson Prize for the best book in government and international relations.
