Dr. Z Nicolazzo, author and associate professor of Trans* Studies at the University of Arizona, will deliver a public lecture titled, “The Kids Are Alright, But Campuses Are Not: Exploring Trans College Student Experiences." This lecture is part of the OVCDEI Campus Culture & Belonging Series. 

Students can receive free and personalized public speaking assistance through the Library's new Speaking Center. Students can work with a trained Speaking Consultant to improve presentations, attend workshops focused on long-term speaking skills, or participate in sessions to build foreign language skills. Learn to develop environmental policies and advocate for them! iSEE encourages U of I undergraduates from all backgrounds, class standings, and majors to apply to its Spring 2023 Environmental Leadership Program. Admission to the program is highly competitive, as the Institute seeks a diverse and interdisciplinary cohort. The program includes pre-semester workshops, weekly meetings and travel over spring break. Apply by Oct. 31, 2022!
