Art Competition for Pirates of Penzance
National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is hosting an art competition for all Uni students celebrating the spring musical, Pirates of Penzance! Uni students, NAHS and the Pirates cast and crew will vote for winners in each of three categories: Pirates, Pirate Flags and Ocean. Submit your art (8.5 x 11 inch or smaller) to Ms. Evans in person or via email by Friday, Feb 20. Entries should include name, email, entry category and locker number. All art will be displayed. Prizes: stickers, baked goods and Uni theatre passes will be awarded during the play intermission on Sat., March 7.

PE exemption for Ramadan
Students who will be fasting during Ramadan are welcome to be exempt from PE classes during this time. Alternatively, if you prefer to stay engaged, you may choose a modified activity or an alternative task with your PE teacher's approval. Please email Coach Rachael (rbrewer3@illinois.edu) by Tuesday, Feb. 17 if you would like a PE exemption during Ramadan. For modified activities during class please speak with your PE teacher.

Ctrl-Z, CU's high school robotics team, is running a book drive for Cunningham Children's Home, a residential program for children all over Illinois. We accept books for all ages and in all conditions.
