Needed: Host families

We need families for 20 11th and 12th grade exchange students from Thionville, France who will be here from March 23 to April 22026. All have a focus on Physics. You do not need to speak French to host a student. We want families who are willing to share moments with students from Thionville, and have them be an extension of your immediate family for about 10 days.
If you are interested, please respond as soon as possible to  blues@illinois.edu
We need 20 spaces... if you can host more than one student, that is wonderful. If you can only host 1, that is better than none.  The chaperones/teachers are set.

Flu Levels Increasing: Please Take Precautions

Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) reports an increase in influenza activity across Champaign County. Respiratory illness levels in Illinois are “High” with influenza levels at “Very High.” CUPHD advises taking additional precautions to protect yourself and others, including vaccination, staying home when ill, wearing a mask, and washing hands frequently with soap and water.
We ask Uni students and staff to self-report contagious illnesses so that we can be aware of periods of higher spread and take appropriate precautions. If you do become ill, please refer to the contagious illness policy for details about returning to school.
