Adobe Suite License Change for Students
For years, the University has provided free access to Adobe CC for all students through special funding. Due to recent changes on campus, free access will end on Dec. 31, 2025 Students who wish to continue using Adobe Creative Cloud can purchase a license, good for Jan. 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026 for $40 through WebStore’s offering. A student Adobe CC license for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in May 2026 for $80 via the WebStore. The computers in the WAC lab will not be affected by this change. Students will still be able to use Adobe CC on those computers without purchasing a license.

Sophomore Class Family Party Sat. Jan 10, 7-9 pm
The PTSA invites all sophomores and their families (including parents and siblings!) to a party on Sat., Jan. 10, from 7-9 p.m. in the ARC! We’ll play basketball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton and spikeball, and there will also be space to hang out and enjoy snacks on the sidelines. Evening with Spring — now Saturday, Jan. 24
Sprabitat Club has long supported Spring Initiative, a transformative, holistic after-school program helping at-risk students in Clarksdale, MS. Spring is hosting an event in Champaign (this isn't an official Uni event), and we'd like to invite you! Spring had to postpone their December trip, so now an "Evening with Spring" will be held Saturday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Champaign. There will be a pasta dinner, live performances, and an opportunity to hear from Spring students visiting from Clarksdale. Spring will be collecting a $10 admission fee at the door. Guest Speaker at Jan 21 PTSA Meeting
Moni Marcelo, the Director of Threat Assessment at UIUC, will be speaking at our next PTSA meeting about the threat assessment team at Uni High and UIUC and what threat assessment looks like in general in K-12 schools. Everyone in the Uni community is invited to attend this presentation on Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m. in Siebel Room 1404. Our January PTSA meeting will follow immediately after the presentation. We will be discussing plans for our Trivia Night/ Silent Auction, ERC/ PTSA spring garden workdays, and our April election of officers for the 2026-2027 school year. We hope you can join us!

The Wellness Room is available for students who want to take a short break or need a quiet place for a reset to sit, color, breathe, and relax. This room is located on the 3rd floor in 312 and will be open during the hours below. Please sign in using the QR code on the door or through the paper sign-in sheet also located near the door. An agreement to abide by the rules of the room will be available during sign-in. Mondays/Wednesdays 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays/Thursdays 9-11 a.m.
