On Aug. 14 after school the Uni Fine Arts Theatre Program will hold auditions for William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the North Attic. All students are welcome to audition. Those auditioning will perform a sonnet by Shakespeare. The script with cuts is available for perusal. Students will perform the monologue and participate in audition activities including readings from the script. Please contact Fing at guyotte@illinois.edu with questions. Tech hopefuls should come to the North Attic to fill out an interest form.

While the sites are still works in progress, we wanted to share them so you can begin using them. We are still adding sections and information; if you have suggestions for what should be included, please email BOTH uni-communications@illinois.edu AND ctrotter@illinois.edu.

The most current information will be available on these sites, and the information on the Uni website resources page will be phased out as the website is updated this year.

The first day of school is coming up on Aug. 13! To help you get ready, please use the textbook listing for 2025-2026 as a guide for your textbooks.

For the next few weeks we will be asking everyone to check in with family members, friends, and colleagues to make sure everyone is receiving Uni communications. 

If someone is not receiving UniWeek, please ask them to FIRST check their spam/junk folders. If the bulletin isn't there, they should email uni-communications@illinois.edu. Students: Include your name, Uni email and graduation year. Parents/guardians: Include your name, your email, your student's name and your student's graduation year. Staff: Include your name, email and title.

All Uni students, families, and staff are invited to our annual Orientation Potluck on Sunday, Aug. 17, from 5-7 p.m. at AMBUCS Park in Urbana. (Rain date: Monday, 8/18, 5-7 p.m.)
Our PTSA is able to host this event because the Uni community works together to make this wonderful event a reality. There are so many ways to help! We need to fill 132 food slots and 33 volunteer slots in less than two weeks!
