As shared at the Quarter 2 assembly, Uni is launching a new program — U 'n' I —where students can keep track of their Uni-sponsored community service hours to be recognized at the end of the year. We hope to celebrate the community service we do as a school and encourage more students to participate in volunteering throughout the year. To participate, please complete this form each time you participate in a Uni-sponsored volunteering activity. Students who complete 10+ hours of community service and 1 reflection will receive a certificate and be invited to an ice cream celebration in May.

There IS school on election day
We have had some questions regarding having school on Election Day. Because we are a laboratory school linked with the U. of I., we did not have to take the day off like other public schools did. This decision was made last year when the calendar was made, and it was so you could get a longer Winter Break. That being said, if you need to leave school for a brief period to go vote, that is an excused absence. If you aren't able to vote early at any locations listed here on County Clerk's website, you are encouraged to vote on Election Day.
