All transfer students are invited to come to Transfer Student Orientation on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 2-3:30 p.m. Come tour the building, find your classes and meet other Uni High students. Students usually take a walk to Green Street. You're welcome to bring money if you would like to get coffee or ice cream during the walk to Green Street. We hope to see you there!

All incoming subbies are invited to attend Subbie Orientation on Friday, Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a short welcome for parents & students at Uni Gym from 9-9:15 a.m. After the welcome, parents will be dismissed and students will stay for a day of fun, including a pizza lunch provided by the PTSA. All Uni students, families, and staff are invited to our annual Orientation Potluck on Sunday, Aug. 18, from 5-7 p.m. at AMBUCS Park in Urbana. (Rain date: Monday, 8/19, 5-7 p.m.)
Our PTSA is able to host this event because the Uni community works together to make this wonderful event a reality. There are so many ways to help! We need to fill 145 food slots and 33 volunteer slots in less than two weeks! Please follow this link to sign up.

Uni’s Main Office will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the first few weeks of school. We are in the process of hiring a permanent reception/attendance staff person, at which point we’ll return to normal office hours. Until then we’re happy to have the help of Dorothy Baker from U of I’s Extra Help department at Uni’s reception desk.
