Friday, December 5, at 5:00pm is the deadline for doctoral students to complete their dissertation deposit for Fall 2025 degree conferral. This deadline is firm and cannot be waived. Because all corrections and all required deposit materials must be received no later than 5:00pm, the Thesis Office strongly encourages students to submit the dissertation for review several days prior to the deadline. Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowships support graduate students who are U.S. citizens, enrolled in any field of the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, or professional programs, and demonstrate financial need. The Graduate College Office of External Fellowships will manage the limited-submission competition to select three finalists to submit to Liebmann for consideration. Interested students should carefully read and follow the application procedure detailed in the Liebmann Fellowship Finder listing.

Universities Research Association (URA) seeks applications for paid Summer Fellowships for graduate students in 2026 at Sandia National Laboratories. Research will involve unclassified projects in several STEM fields including Bioscience, Computing/Information Science, Earth Science, Engineering, Material Science, Nanodevices/ Microsystems, and Radiation, Electrical, & High Energy Density Science. Fellows will work under Sandia mentors and be included in meetings, events, and tours supporting professional development. Applicants must be full-time masters or doctoral students and US citizens.

Gain mentoring and peer leadership experience in a unique employment opportunity at the Career Center as International Career Navigators. Serve as peer mentors to students seeking to advance their professional and career development during this 10-week program each semester. As part of the CC-I program, Navigators lead a cohort of six to nine CC-I program participants and cater to the career development needs of the participants. The Center for Writing Studies will be offering an online, two-day introductory Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) seminar on Jan. 12-13, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00pm CT. This professional development seminar is a great way for TAs from all departments to learn more about teaching writing, responding to writing, and using writing to support learning. Participants will receive a small stipend for participating. Space is limited; apply early and no later than December 1.
