Sandia National Laboratories offer the Truman and Hruby postdoctoral fellowships to support research relating to Sandia's national security mission. Fellows work in Albuquerque, NM or Livermore, CA on advancing cutting-edge science and technology. Annual salary: $123,000 (NM) or $139,600 (CA). This session offers practical guidance and foundational knowledge for campus professionals who work with international students. Topics will include common challenges international students face—such as immigration regulations, academic expectations, language barriers, cultural adjustment, and emotional well-being—as well as the campus and community resources available to support them. Attendees will also gain clarity on their own role in helping students navigate these challenges with empathy and confidence.
