June 13 is the last business day to cancel POT 1 Independent Study, S2 (8 week), or S2A (4 week) registration and receive a 100% refund if you are not enrolled in courses in any other summer terms (Withdrawal/Cancellation Form required). June 15 is the last day to cancel this registration via Self-Service. The refund schedule for Summer 2025 can be found on the Registrar's website. Writing Effective Fellowship Proposals (Workshops on June 12)

The ability to craft an effective funding proposal can reap a lifetime of rewards. In this workshop, you will learn how to identify funding opportunities, strategize the components of an effective proposal, and think like a grantwriter. The Office of External Fellowships will hold two versions of this workshop on Thursday, June 12: students in STEM fields can attend online from 2:30-5 PM (register) while students in the social sciences and humanities can attend in person at the Grad College from 2:30-4:30 (register). This presentation will focus on practical strategies for writing and publishing journal articles, with a focus on revising a seminar paper or course project for publication. The Career Exploration Group provides a collaborative environment for grad students and postdocs from all fields who want to learn more about career options. Participants work with a career advisor to identify and evaluate career paths that fit their skills, interests, and values.
