Nominations Sought to Attend Workshop on Science Policy and Advocacy

The university is sponsoring three graduate students to attend the 2023 Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) workshop on March 26-29 in Washington, D.C. The workshop is hosted by American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS). Cost of travel, lodging, registration and meals will be covered for selected students. By the 10th Day of Classes, January 30, graduate students should be correctly registered for Spring 2023. It is important to check your registration before this date on Self Service to make sure your registration is correct. January 30 is the last day to submit a form to audit a semester course, submit a form to register "in Absentia," add a semester course via Self-Service, and drop a semester course and receive a refund if reducing assessment range. Students enrolled in non-standard part of term courses should refer to their graduate program for deadline information.

Sandia National Laboratories - Summer Graduate Fellowships

In collaboration with the Universities Research Assocation, Sandia National Laboratories offers summer research fellowships to graduate students in STEM. Research takes place at Sandia sites in Albuquerque, NM and Llvermore, CA and includes special events hosted by Sandia's Student Intern Program and Academic Program. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents enrolled full-time in a master's or doctoral program.
